I know there hasn’t been much writing happening on the site as of late. I have tons to write about though and don’t worry I will get around to it. I got movie reviews, TV reviews, and a convention breakdown. It has just been kinda hectic at work (that will hopefully change by the end of next week) and I just haven’t been home much, and when I have the last thing I wanted to do was be in front of a computer.<\/p>\n

But this week I did have enough down time to do my nails. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this look. It is vibrant, very poppy, and just a lot of fun. It may look complex but it is so easy to do.<\/p>\n

So the object I am holding is a bottle of Romulan Ale. If you don’t know what that is, shame on you. If you do, it is awesome, right?! Yeah, I inherited that bottle when a coworker left and she thought I was the perfect nerd to have it. I have been tempted to drink the blue concoction on several occations but out of novelty and its questionable expiry date, I haven’t. I was going to use this for my FanExpo nails but as you know that didn’t happen. So you get it now.<\/p>\n

I used 7 polishes for this look. Just blob on colours, doesn’t have to be neat or anything, then throw the shatter on top, top coat it for shine and you are done. Super easy with fantastic results.<\/p>\n

Yellow – LA Girl Disco Brites NL72 “Psychedelic”<\/p>\n

Green – LA Girl Brites GNL469 “Kryptonite”<\/p>\n

Red – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 375 “Stiletto Red”<\/p>\n

Blue – Essie 784 “Aruba Blue”<\/p>\n

Black – OPI Shatter in Black<\/p>\n
