Over the last, almost, year and a half, life seems to have run away from me. Not because I was doing so much but really because I could do so little.\u00c2\u00a0I have gone through some things in the last while that have made it difficult for me to create and articulate.\u00c2\u00a0But in recent times I have started to try and be more creative and put things together.<\/p>\n

I started a podcast for example. It is about movies, no surprise there, but I found an angle that I think is interesting. It is called “Off My Shelf<\/a>” where I go through my personal DVD collection and sit with a guest and talk about them. They aren’t particularly new movies, as I haven’t bought any DVDs in a while, but it is a kind of voyeuristic look into my movie tastes. It is going really well so far and I hope I manage to make it through the whole collection.<\/p>\n

I have also decided to start writing for the blog again. You can probably tell from the new look and the fact that there is a new post.\u00c2\u00a0I am still eating great meals, reading books, playing boardgames, and going on little adventures so I will continue to post about that.\u00c2\u00a0Of course I am still watching new movies and TV shows while doing the podcast so the predominant content on the site will probably still be my thoughts on the media I watch. I guess that is a good segue…<\/p>\n

I am constantly watching movies and TV shows both new and old and this will never get posted if I try to go through all the ones I watched in the last year and a half and provide detailed analyses. So I am sticking to what was released in 2018, in lists, with short titles that describe my overall thoughts.<\/p>\n
