It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not hilarious and not a bore it is an average comedy. The laughs are pretty evenly spaced with ok performances by everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>Simon Pegg is a great comedic actor but he comes across the best in works that he has more to do with than just the acting ie. <em>Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead<\/em>, and his tv show <em>Spaced<\/em>. He did help write <em>Run, Fat Boy, Run<\/em> but we won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t talk about that one. Maybe in writing he understands the character better and it helps him emote but in movies like this he seems to be a little half hearted at times.<\/p>\n<p>His ensemble cast includes Megan Fox, who seems to be bringing \u00e2\u20ac\u0153stripper chic\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to the norm. Gillian Anderson, who I was shocked to see, does an ok job. There is also Kristen Dunst who continues through her acting career half asleep. And Jeff Bridges is really entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>Now besides the mediocre acting, there is a serious pacing problem with the film. The first 3\/4 of the film goes along pretty well, then there is a montage, and then it is the end of the film. I really think they should have evened it out a bit. I felt like I missed something in there.<\/p>\n<p>Overall the film is a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve seen all the other good comedies\u00e2\u20ac\u009d rental.
