I am sitting here wondering if we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll EVER learn, WILD ANIMALS ARE NOT!!! PETS! Over the last few months and years we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve heard news reports about people being mauled by \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Pets\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or even zoo animals, and while it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s sad and shocking I can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t fault the animals. I feel badly for the animals because their usually the ones who end up getting beaten or shot dead for being what they are.<\/p>\n

This post is brought on be a news report I watched about a woman being mauled by a chimpanzee, who of course was shot dead in the end. The footage I saw was of an animal wearing a diaper and a leash. \u00c2\u00a0I felt this was just so wrong \u00e2\u20ac\u201c we may think we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re doing the animal a favor but seriously are we? I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think so. I think if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re naive enough to believe that a wild animal can be tamed enough to be brought into your home and live as a pet then you pretty much are asking for trouble. \u00c2\u00a0If that animal attacks you \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not saying you deserve it but don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be surprised and don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t expect to get my sympathies.<\/p>\n

Here are a few of the animals I have hear of attacking their \u00e2\u20ac\u0153owners\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or people in general \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a polar bear in a zoo \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the woman went beyond 2 fences and was mauled \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the bear was beaten with sticks to try to let the woman go – \u00c2\u00a0a woman was killed by a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153pet\u00e2\u20ac\u009d snake this snake was a boa constrictor, and illegal. This woman I just mentioned above with the chimpanzee and lastly perhaps the most famous mauling was of the tiger mauling of Siegfried and Roy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, Roy Horn.<\/p>\n

Well yes they may be cute as cubs or babies or whatever \u00c2\u00a0remember they are wild animals wit natural instincts and should NOT be taken in as pets \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and while yes there are likely many instances that we don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t hear about wild animals mauling their owners but let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s learn from others mistakes because it could only be a matter of time.<\/p>\n
