So I have had a pretty boring day at work today. Things are slow, it is raining, and everyone just seems to be a bit lethargic. Maybe they are recovering from their epic weekends. Because of this, I have been perusing the interwebs and fallen into watching film analysis videos.
As a person who loves film, these are absolutely fascinating. They cover many aspects and tricks of film making some of which I have noticed and some which I haven’t. They even mention subtleties that hadn’t previously registered and it just blows my mind. Certain use of colours, mimicry, visual and audio cues, and character traits. Here are a few vids that I took in today.
