Missing Link

This email tete-a-tete occurred between Tra and Cory for the posts you are reading below. Now if I weren’t out of town – this would have been an entirely different conversation. How? Observe –

Tra: The season has us slacking on the blog. We will be disappointing our readers. But I wrote up a little something. Let me know what you think.

“Yes! Best Idea Ever! Suck the will to live right out, down with the holiday season and all the cretins who have tortured you in the parking lot?”

Cory: I don’t even know what to say. I know I wrote a piece comlaining too but
maybe it’s just be but this comes across as very cynical.

“HAHAHAHAHA! No, really? From the desk of occasionally morose fiction writer, this gem that Tracey is far too cynical, but the anti-complaining complain post is right up the care bears alley!”

Tra: Cynical? Really? I was trying to be a bit snarky but cynical, I don’t know. Is it a good cynical or bad cynical?

“Half full, Half empty, Just drink up and pass out already!”

Cory: To me, yes it came across as cynical/down with Christmas and not in a good way. Almost like ya I got a big chip on my shoulder kinda way. But I don’t know that could just be me projecting but I can’t be sure.

“Kettle, Giant Kettle! Yeah…”

Tra: Ok I read it. I like it. I get it. But is this about me? Do I complain too much? Did I break your back? Are you a camel? Am I straw? I will post it tonight.

“The Paranoia is setting in, no one is safe – I’d think it was about me but clearly I am the egocentric one in our trio, yeah?”

Cory: HOLY egocentric much? No this is not about you, If it were only you I could handle that it just seems that everyone is complaining all the time recently and I am the go to guy – a one man complaint department. Rest assured while you are a complainer by nature (haha, I kid) that this is not about you, you just happened to complain this morning about the traffic.

“Post an overnight snowfall and uncleared streets – traffic complaints? Good Ole’ Tra at work!”

Tra: A complainer by nature? You are totally not kidding about that cuz you know it is true. Don’t deny. I do complain a lot but you are used to it. I am worse in the mornings. I will have to go over my post and try to not make it sound so harsh then, well if I get around to it. Can we post 2 things that is just us complaining in a row? Yeah I am just going to do it

“I for one, think it’s a giant chunk off the old ‘Fabulous!’ block, I cannot believe you havent posted it already and caused a pandemic!”
