I was driving into work this morning and was a little awed. I know, who can be awed in traffic? But listen.
There is an intricacy that happens on the road with cars weaving in and out of lanes, turn signals and non turn signals alike, break lights, the whole nine yards. I thought for sure that I was going to see a collision or two this morning but alas I didn’t; everyone knew the steps, everyone knew their place and the timing was impeccable. Now add the fact that all these “dancers” were moving at about 80 – 100/kph and that is why I was awed.
It was a hodgepodge of mismatched partners and styles, little cars with huge trucks, the so called “slow” lane speed up. I’m almost 100 percent certain that if anyone who’d been listening to a Waltz just then they would have seen such similarity that it would be uncanny.
Anyway – I just wanted to say congratulations to all this mornings dancers.

Its all fun and games – until the Huge truck sashays Beyonce style into the little car. There’s a Sasha fierce moment and we are turning and turning and swaying and turning and count 4…2…1 – and work, work, work, woRK, wORK, WORK – BAM! We all fall down.
