A Not so Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum!

 
It’s Thursday and I woke up in a good mood. I have a third interview for a part-time job today and feel good about it. Well I get up, shower and dress – walk the dog and hop in the car to get to my full time job. Everything is hunky dory when all of the sudden – the person driving beside me decides that she isn’t going to slow down for the bus entering her lane but rather she’s going to move over into my lane – didn’t bother checking to see if anyone was beside her, NO response to the sound of my horn blaring – thankfully there was no one in the lane beside me otherwise there would have been trouble. OH by the way I’m not sure if everyone is aware of this but it’s now law that you MUST yield to a bus entering traffic. Yep I said it – LAW. So this woman whoever she is just decided screw them … of course she’s more important than everyone else in the entire world. In that moment I wasn’t scared – I was angry. I wanted to follow that woman and just I don’t know what but again in that instant I understood road rage – to a degree. Of course i didn’t do anything but gripe under my breath and continued on my way to work. I’m not sure if it should have been enough to ruin the start of a great day and for other people perhaps it would have but I’m pretty sure I’m over it now and will continue to have a great day despite the fact that some people just shouldn’t have licenses!
