If you are offended by swearing, nudity, stereotypes, and poop then this is not the movie for you. But if you are entertained by any of that then you will love it.

Kevin Smith has made a great movie. It is vulgar, hilarious, and sweet all at the same time. It goes right back to his early stuff like Mallrats and Chasing Amy. It is a well put together movie on a ridiculous premise and characters that you ultimately root for. I hope he keeps at it more regularly but hopefully not the Judd Apatow excessive bombardment kind of way.

So Zack and Miri have been friends for a long time. They live together, share everything, and are broke together. They come up with the ludicrous idea to make a porno to make lots of money quickly. Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks do a great job as the main characters. They are well balanced with an ensemble cast that includes Craig Robinson, Jason Mewes, Traci Lords, Katie Morgan, Jeff Anderson, and Ricky Make. There are also side-splitting cameos by Brandon Routh, Justin Long, Tisha Campbell-Martin, and Tyler Labine.

Give Zack and Miri Make a Porno a go. I don’t think you will be disappointed. Also stay until after the credits, it gets even better.
