A not so terrible thing happened.

You may or may not agree with this, however, last night it snowed for the first time this season and although it slowed down my drive home it wasn’t terrible. I got in the car and turned on the music and just rode the slow wave home.

As I get older I’m learning to live with the fact that HEY – we live in Canada (born and raised – so you’d figure I’d be used to it by now) so we’re going to get snow. I enjoyed the few years of no snow but then it started to worry me. How badly are we screwing up the planet so that we don’t get ANY snow?

Alas last year we got so much snow we didn’t know what to do with it all, but that was fine by me. We’ll see if I’m singing the same tune in a few weeks, seeing as now I’m driving more and in previous years I was a bus guy, though now I have to contend with the “incompetent” drivers out there.

Well snow, no snow all I have to leave you with is this.

“when the weather outside if frightful,
the fire is so delightful.
And since we’ve not place to go
