Sparkles

I know I mentioned this in yesterdays post but the weather has gone crazy. On Jan 30 it there was a high of 15 degrees with a substantial amount of rain. As of the morning of Jan 31 it is -3 with a wind chill of -14. If you take into consideration the wind chill factor that is a difference of 29 degrees in less than 1 day………yeah.

Anyways, I still haven’t figured out a way to take a pleasing picture of my hand plus I was told the images I have been taking are too boring and I should hold something “interesting, like a wine glass.” I am not sure what makes a wine glass interesting but I took that into consideration and this week I took several pictures holding several different things.

and finally holding some chainmaille that I am working on.

I like that last one the best but as you can see they still aren’t the greatest. I think I took like 30 pics. I just had to stop.

Anyways this week I did a more toned down look using 4 polishes. I know the main colour doesn’t show up very well but it is Essie Luxeffects “Shine of the Times”; an iridescent polish that shimmers gold, red, and orange in different light it is supposed to give a 3D effect. On the accent nail I used Essie Luxeffect “Set in Stones” and Nail Polish by h&m “Confetti”. All that on an Essie base coat.
