I know, I know, I haven’t posted any of the things I said I would as yet. But I have started writing them. I have like 4 paragraphs written in 4 posts. Not each, all together. Yeah…..

Anyways, those haven’t been posted yet but you do get a post about nails! I know you are very excited. The thing is this is the first time I have gotten an unprompted compliment on my nails from a guy. They usually don’t notice unless they hear someone else talking about it or I wave my hand in front of their face and force them to acknowledge my nail-artwork. Just out of nowhere, “Nice nails Tra.” Mind. Blown.

I have talked this up too much. Now it will never live up to your expectations.

You like? It has the deep tones of fall but still has a nice pop to it with the yellow.

This week’s object is another specimen from my desk. I don’t remember what it is really but after looking at his feet he is apparently a “BIC Buddy First Series 2009”. And after a little googling it is from a figure series where different artists, using the same form, designed the figurine. This one was done by Jeremy Madl (MAD). It was one of those mystery box purchases. I have to say I like this one.

This week I used 7 polishes. Each finger is done differently but they are all done in the same fashion.

Base coat – Essie “Grow Faster” Formula

Beige – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 270 “Steel Grey” – due to improper allocation of nail real estate you only get very small glimpses of this.

Yellow – Julep “Catrina” – I started this year with no yellows now I have 3.

Green (Teal) – Julep “Josephine”

Purple – Julep “Bette”

Lines – Julep “Candace” – it isn’t black it is a deep brown with fine gold glitter

Top Coat – LA Girl NT1 Diamond Top Coat
