Collide-O-Scope

I know I haven’t done this in a few weeks but truth be told I just haven’t had the time. My nails were completely bare for 3 weeks! I know it is inconceivable but very true. But I finally did them.

Today’s object are my fabulous shades that I got at Aldo. I enjoy them but apparently everything I own is hipster-y so, whatever.

I do have to admit I kinda cheated a bit with this look. A colleague of mine has gotten into doing her nails because of me but has very little time to actually do them all fancy like. So she uses those nail strips that are pre-patterned and you just stick on. Well to celebrate finding them cheaply at the dollar store (only $3) she bought me a box. Being me I can’t just stick them on my nails and get on with my day. Oh no! I had to chop them up, make funky shapes and drop a base colour. I think it looks pretty great. And I have to say I am not the only one.

Base coat – LA Girl Nail Strengthener NT13

Base Colour (Grey) - Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 282 “Hard Metal

Nail Strips  (Colourful Bit) – Sally Hansen Salon Effects 380 “Collide-O-Scope”

Top coat – LA Girl Diamond Top Coat NT1 – I don’t always use a top coat but it is very necessary to ensure the nail strips last.

I also did my toes. I am so matchy, matchy this week.

I was strolling through the grass on my way home. It was a lovely day.
