Pink?

This week I did my nails a little girlier that usual. My colour choice pink with flowers. Say what? I have to admit in the bottle the colour looked more orangy than pink and was super vibrant and had this kind of gel look. It is still vibrant and gel like but the orange doesn’t really come through.

I have to admit though, I didn’t buy this, it was part of a party favour when I went to a wedding shower. There were 2 colours this and and another very princess pink that I can’t bring myself to put on. But you never know, it could happen.

I have to say it is horrible polish though. Even with base and top coat it doesn’t last; I had a chip the day after putting it on, by the second day it started to lift and crack. I usually take pics of my left had but because of the chipping and such I picked a good angle and snapped my right hand. I made it look pretty good in this shot. It is a nice look though and I will probably try it again with different colours.

This week’s object is a giraffe. It was given to me by a former co-worker who brought it back from Africa (as a black person I should say “Mother Africa” (phonetically it would be “Motha Afreeka”)). She had been there for a month, slept in tents, went on safari, and saw the sights to be seen. She thought of me and gave me this. At least I didn’t get a lousy t-shirt.

Pinkishness – Fanny Z – Yeah that is the name brand there is no colour name listed. I am really not sure what I expected from a product with a name like that.

White – L’Oreal Steel Colour 910 “Seeing Spots”
